Position Summary

An Eagles Football Academy Division Specialist is responsible for the supervision of campers and Team members within their Division.  They assist in monitoring the organization, supervision, implementation and administration of all activities and schedules.

Position Objective/Purpose

We are seeking motivated team members who believe deeply in the organization’s mission and who display a record of achievement in effective supervision & management of Team members and campers.  The candidate must be capable of building positive relationships, providing top-notch customer service and ensuring the safety and well-being of people of all ages.  This position will require the candidate to complete multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the professional standards of ESF.

Position Scope Factors

Division Specialists are hired in Eagles Football Academy in the following age groups;


Junior: 1st & 2nd grades

Division III: 3rd & 4th grades

Division II: 5th &6th grades

Division I: 7th + grades

  • Locations in the following states; Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware
  • Travel required every week

Essential Job Responsibilities

  1. Within their assigned Division (Junior, Division III, Division II, Division I), ensure the EFA Daily/Weekly Schedule is completely followed including all safety and security policies and camp traditions outlined in trainings and the EFA Components Book
  2. By utilizing the EFA Curriculum, prepare, organize and facilitate daily football skill instruction within their assigned Division (Junior, Division III, Division II, Division I)
  3. Teach football skills and monitor staff as they teach the skills and fundamentals of football
  4. Assign and prepare Team Coaches to facilitate instructional stations during skill development
  5. Serve as a positive role model to campers and Team members
  6. Model behavior & group management strategies for Team Coaches
  7. Monitor safety and security of all campers and Team Members
  8. Conduct Team Meetings
  9. Conduct mid-summer and end of summer Team evaluations
  10. Assist and support the Field Manager & Operations Manager in any camp operation or activity
  11. Act as liaison between ESF & EFA and camp families
  12. Identify and meet camper needs ages 6-14
  13. Conduct tours of the camp facilities and program areas to prospective camp families when applicable
  14. Oversee sign-in and sign out of all campers
  15. Group supervision of campers with attention to: behavior and group management, health and safety, security, and personal and skill development
  16. Follow the EFA Code and maintain the EFA Look at all times
  17. Exhibit ESF Core Values at all times and to adhere to all company policies
  18. Have fun
  19. Other responsibilities as assigned

Experience Requirements

  1. Previous experience working with children in a supervisory or administrative capacity
  2. Performance management and facilitation experience (preferred)
  3. Professional, collegiate or high school football coaching experience (preferred)
  4. Former football playing experience (required)
    1. Professional football player
    2. Collegiate player (Division I,II or III)
    3. Varsity High School player (from a known top-tier program)
  5. 1 – 3 years administrative/leadership experience (required)
  6. Staff supervision experience (required)
  7. Youth coaching experience (required)

Certification Requirements

  1. First Aid/CPR (preferred)
  2. Coaching certification (preferred)

Education Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree

Other Skill Requirements

  1. Outstanding communication skills which include the ability to use clear, concise and grammatically correct written and oral language in all aspects of professional interaction with campers, their families, peers, leadership team and the larger community

Reporting Relationships

  1. Reports directly to and takes direction from the EFA Field Manager and Operations Manager.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  1. Ability to push/pull, lift and carry a minimum of 35lbs
  2. Endurance to work outside and on your feet for 6-8 hours per day
  3. Ability to respond to emergency situations which may require running (up to 1 mile in some cases) and climbing stairs.
  4. Good physical condition which enables candidate to execute all responsibilities associated with this position
