    Responsibilities

    • Familiarize, organize, prepare, and lead the daily True Life Adventure lesson plans in a fun, hands-on, and creative manner for groups of campers between the ages of 9 and 15.
    • Be willing and able to travel each week to the various ESF camp locations; associated travel costs reimbursed according to ESF policy
    • Implementing the Music Production curriculum bringing the lesson plan to life for campers through participation, support, and guidance.
    • Introduce in a fun and creative way
    • Encourage creativity and make a positive impact on each of your campers
    • Work with camp directors and other team members to troubleshoot any issues with program, facilities, supplies, and campers
    • Use effective classroom management skills to lead the activity and effectively create a fun environment where everyone feels included
    • Act as part of a team and support other areas of camp outside of Senior Camp
    • Follow the ESF Code and maintain the ESF Look at all times

    Qualifications

    • At least one year of post graduation classroom teaching experience
    • Knowledge of the subject area
    • Positive attitude
    • Patient, caring and creative
    • Strong communication skills
    • Excellent judgment and problem solving skills
    • Flexible, adaptive and a Team player
    • Desire to make a difference in the life of a child

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to push/pull, lift and carry a minimum of 35lbs
    • Endurance to work outside and on your feet for 6-8 hours per day
    • Ability to respond to emergency situations which may require running (up to 1 mile in some cases) and climbing stairs.
    • Overall good physical condition
