A Day Camp Creative and Performing Arts Specialist is responsible for the supervision of campers (ages 4-8), the implementation of drama curriculum, promoting and actively participating in all camp activities, providing a safe and fun learning environment and serving as a positive role model for campers and counselors. Campers will make music, dance their hearts out and create tribe cheers while learning improvisation techniques, telling stories, playing charades, singing karaoke and performing skits. The Creative and Performing Arts Specialist will also help them prepare for our 2 Day Camp shows.
We are seeking motivated team members who believe deeply in the organization’s mission and who display a record of achievement in effective supervision and management of youth, building positive relationships and ensuring the safety and well-being of people of all ages.
Previous experience working with children, examples include but are not limited to; babysitting, academic/athletic tutoring, camp counselor, youth volunteer, classroom assistant, religious education teacher
Previous camp counselor/teaching experience (preferred)

1. Minimum of one year of post graduate classroom teaching experience preferably in drama or theater or 3 years comparable ESF experience
