  • Position Objective/Purpose

    ESF Camps is seeking a talented Marketing Manager with strong experience in digital marketing, demand generation, business to consumer marketing, and some familiarity with seasonal business, events, etc. The individual will ideally have at least four (4) years of marketing experience (preferably working as a Generalist) with a Bachelor’s in Marketing or Business and a concentration in Marketing.

    Position Scope Factors

    The Marketing Manager will design and execute internal and external marketing and communications collateral and activities. The Manager will develop and promote ESF’s brand along with our branded partnerships in sports, academia and technology. The Marketing Manager must be comfortable with digital technology and like to explore new internet applications related to marketing. Must have the ability to problem solve and multi-task within varying deadlines. Attention to detail as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential.

    Essential Job Responsibilities

    • Develop, coordinate, execute and provide content messaging for digital marketing campaigns.
    • Coordinate and communicate marketing campaigns with ESF team members, management, and clients.
    • Assess performance metrics including project and campaign analytics, efficiency metrics, brand metrics, customer metrics, and overall return on investment for digital marketing and communications initiatives Make recommendations based on findings.
    • Perform writing, copywriting, editing, and proofing of marketing materials, web content, social media posts, blogs, and online advertising,
    • Research state-of-the-art trends in digital marketing.
    • Hands on experience and/or familiarity with the following: SEM; SEO; social media; increasing traffic to ESF website; branding, etc.
    • Strong verbal and written marketing communication skills
    • Directly participates in writing and proofing of deliverables (e.g., reports, articles presentations, etc.).
    • Manage departmental deadlines.

    Experience Requirements

    • Background in business to consumer marketing to parents and children
    • Must have excellent marketing writing and communication skills
    • Hands-on social media and digital marketing experience
    • Ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment
    • Well versed in Google analytics and other tools for assess web performance, campaign performance, etc. 
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
    • Energetic, personable, and ready to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task while maintaining a constant level of high quality
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Self-motivated
    • Dedicated team player and ability to work cross-functionally to achieve deadlines

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related business discipline

    Reporting Relationships

    • Reports directly to and takes direction from the Marketing Director

    Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

    • Minimum of forty (40) hours per week
    • This position involves extended periods of time at a computer workstation
    • Local candidates preferred
