    Paid Internship at ESF Headquarters in Bryn Mawr, PA; June 4 - mid/end of August, 2018

    Essential Job Responsibilities

    After a formal training period, the Multi-Media Intern will implement the production of 12 multi-media slide shows that set the stage for the culminating, end of season, event and act as a critical retention communication for ESF families.

     

    Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Multi Media Intern will implement the strategy for all aspects of 12 specially designed slide show productions to consistently articulate ESF’s mission and all the great newsworthy events that take place each day at camp. This essential member of the marketing team will ensure that ESF is viewed as the most exciting and innovative summer program provider within our diverse population and collaborate, cross-functionally, with various teams to deliver high-quality multi-media digital assets.

    • Development and preparation for numerous multi-media projects from start to finish, including:
      • Collaborating on story boards complete with detailed timelines for all multi-media deliverables
      • Develop specification guidelines for photo and video submission from sites
      • Digital asset generation; representative of all ESF sites both though collaborating with Site Directors as well as site visits to gather photo and video content
      • Developing a digital asset library to track site specific photo submissions and categorize camp segments (day, sports, senior, etc.)
      • Pacing & mapping content to songs within presentation
      • Maintaining equality between different ESF camps throughout each presentation (i.e. Sports camp has about the same amount of content as Day Camp)
    • Develop organizational framework for tagging and repurposing assets for optimization for social media, you tube, blog posts, website, newsletters, etc.
    • Manage all aspects of editing for each project and work with various teams to implement changes (internal teams and outside vendors)
    • Provide frequent updates on the progress of the projects and completion of deadlines
    • Travel to ESF sites when necessary to assure assigned tasks were completed and provided aid to meet production deadlines

    Experience Requirements

    • Must be proficient in iMovie, Adobe Premier, Final Cut and Animto
    • Multi-media background required
    • Highly developed time management skills in order to complete tasks to meet deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure the necessary editing of projects is communicated effectively with various team members
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task as you will be completing multiple projects at once
    • Ability to work independently and problem solve
    • Interpersonal skills as you will working with representatives from each site
    • The ability to be flexible and handle unpredictable situations with ease

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred; marketing or creative field preferred

    Reporting Relationships

    • The Multi-Media Intern reports directly to the Marketing Director. Close collaboration occurs also with the Marketing Coordinators, design team and seasonal web/multimedia staff

    Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

    • This is a temporary position based in Bryn Mawr, PA; June through mid/end-August, 2018
    • Occasional travel to camp sites required
    • This position involves extended periods of time at a computer workstation
